Fruit wines at Marks and Spencer
I am not sure how long these have been on the shelf, but I was interested to see these two bottles in my local M&S yesterday. Labelled as Sauvignon Blanc with Apples and Tempranillo Rose with Strawberries they are in the wine section but don’t use the word wine anywhere on the packaging. Rubis Chocolate wine
At the Imbibe Exhibition I came across a stand that was proudly selling and promoting ‘Chocolate Wine’. It is called Rubis and is technically a fortified Tempranillo that is spiked with chocolate essence. Rubis is slightly viscous and is 15% alcohol. Two wines for the week
I went shopping on the end of the wine aisle this week, partly brought about by my waiting in the queue at Tesco for a lady who was ‘sure she had a £1 coin in her purse’.
